I'm considering upgrading my OLD Yahama VR990 with a Denon 4800. Any comments or alternative suggestions? I plan to use it about 90% for HT (other than concert DVDs I cant' remember listening to my CDs on my home system).

I can only say I love my Denon! Best for the money, and the system is excellent for both TV and music, unlike previous systems I owned.

I'm currently waiting to get Dolby Pro Logic II. If this is as good as pro and consumer reviews, it's worth it.
Nobody has it available in this level receiver yet, but it's coming soon. Onkyo first, probably.
