I am looking for a remote that will replace all my remotes including the UHF satelite remote. Any ideas? I am looking either low end, or high. Remotes like the Sony AV-2100 just seem silly, if no custom buttons then why have a touch screen. I want to either spend $50 and get a remote that works everythings major functions, or $200 and have a remore that I can customize to my exact liking. The problem I'm having is figuring out which ones will be able to control the most essential funtion, changing the satelite channel. Thanks for you help.

If your satellite is ONLY UHF, you are out of luck to the best of my knowledge. Some Sony's were selectable for IR OR UHF, most UHF featured RCAs I am aware of can do either or BOTH. This is also true of newer DISH Network boxes; many of the older units were UHF only, as was the original JVC DVHS unit.

See my response at [Link: remotecentral.com] for additional info.
