Hello...I would like to use my Onkyo DTR 9.1 remote to control my small home setup. This includes the Dish Receiver. Can anyone help me out with the codes that are used for the various button functions?
Thanks much...

Try the learning function. The manual should explain this. I don't think the remote has codes.

Aw nuts!!!!...so DishNetwork doesn't have a set of codes for their remote button functions...this is not good....Are there any other remotes that work with the DSS from D/Network?

Uh, no. What I said is the Onkyo remote doesn't appear to have ANY pre-programmed codes. It looks as though it operates all/most Onkyo equipment and has a learning function to learn from other remotes. I don't have this remote yet, perhaps somebody else could comment.
Codes come from the manufacturer of the remote, not the equipment you want to control. Dish has no control over whether your Onkyo remote can control a 4700 receiver.
If you have a remote from Dish, you can teach the Onkyo remote every single key. If you've lost (or never had) the Dish remote, perhaps you could go to a store and teach your remote there.
