Does anyone have a Digital Cable box from Scientific Atlanta? This is the one that many companies use; here in Ottawa it is available from Rogers.

It comes with a four-Device URC. Master Device codes are listed in the remote's manual. There are two such codes for Panasonic VCRs, but neither will work for me, so I cannot add the VCR to this darn remote. Has anyone got an answer for this... maybe a code they found that isn't in the manual... ? ... Mike

I think there is a way for you to search for a code. Try the following link and see if your remote is listed here.---Best of luck.---Dave.

woops that url didn't copy & paste right. Any way when you get there click on help desk. Then click on the help with digital cable link. Then remote control guides. ect.----Dave.

Whoop-de-doo-da-dingle, Hoff! thanks for the site. There are two more codes showing for my Pana VCR than the manual lists; I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks so much for your help. Not only that, it's a good all-around Help site for these digi-cab boxes. ... Mike

Good work, Hoff. I discovered something with that site: my Sci-Atl remote manual shows three-digit numbers; the TWarner site shows four-digit numbers. Neither of the two extra codes worked, but adding a zero in front of one of the three-digit numbers DID work. I found this out completely by accident. ... Mike
