Many of you may already know this, but I didn't see it posted here, so I thought I'd pass it along. HDNet, which is billed as "the first national all High Def network in the US" is now up and broadcasting on Channel 199 on DirectTV, replacing the old HD demo loop.

It's owned by Mark Cuban, billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavs (NBA). Right now, they are just on a few hours a day, showing their own demo loop and major leage baseball. Starting in September they'll be broadcasting 16 hours per day.

I'm not a big baseball fan, but I've watched two games the last two nights. The image is amazing. You can learn more at http://www.hd.net.
