First, DQ stands for Dumb Question. I have lost all documentation for the remote, which on the back reads: AT&T 200B, Made in Korea, 4552. However, given that the cable box is Motorola and that cable service is AT&T digital, my guess is that the remote isn't AT&T, but just a cute branding gimick.

In any event, there are four function buttons in square cluster at the top of the remote--TV, Cable, Aux, VCR, and underneath a "lock" button. Any ideas on how to program this ******?

Thanks.

What do you want it to do. If you want it to controll your tv you would turn your tv on hold down the tv button till it starts flashing. Then you hit the power button the remote and start hitting the up arrow till the tv turns off. At that time hit the ok button. It will now control your tv. You can do the same for your vcr. Your cable company has a small brocure on how to use this remote and actual codes but what I described above will work fine.\

The brocure shows you a different way to program this control, its just to bad that my code wasn't in it for an ( Orion ) TV set. So I try to program it the way Dave W did and it found my code, an works perfict...
Thanks a bounch !!!
