Question: a number of shows this season are being broadcast in "HDTV" format, like the Fugitive and the District. If I install an ExpressVu 6000 hi-def sat and box, will these programs come through as hi-def? ... Mike

yes, from Boston networks fedds that X-Vu re-broadcast

I think you also need an OTA card for your reciever?
Dish systems don't have it standard like some of the DTV boxes. Costs something like 150 bucks.
There are also a bunch other shows in HD - Titus, CSI, Dark Angel .... getting better all the time

He does not need an OTA card for ExpressVu. Actually an OTA card won't even work. Since ExpressVu is a Canadian service and there is no OTA HD in Canada, they never loaded the software to activate the OTA card.
