Hi all,
I have a collection of various styles of the old Primestar dishes including the elliptical dish. Does anyone know if the elliptical dish can be adapted to substitute for the DSA8900E dish and used with the RCA DTC100 HD receiver? I figure it might give a much higher signal level if the feeds from my DSA8900 can be retrofitted.

I wouldn't try to use it for more than one dual lnb, but other than that it should work fine. I couldn't get decent signals using the 8900, so I just used two regular dishes each with a dual LNB and the 4x4 multiswitch that comes with the 8900 for my setup.
