Hi, Anyone know if there are any products out there that can control set top boxes which use irDA instead of normal ir signals? Specifically I would like a.) a ir booster so I can control the box from another room, and b.) something I can use to program when the STB switches on, and which channel it is on (so I can program my VCR to record more than 1 thing at a time, coz the STB has no timer!). This problem exists with Digital Cable boxes in U.K. from ntl, telewest etc. because they thought it was a good idea to use irDA, but didn't confer with VCR and remote control manufacturers first! Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
