You may use two dish insted of oval dish. You need to buy a 22khz switch if you got the puls receiver if you got the old kind you may use the A/B switch. Last things to do looking for the single, change you transponder to 28-32. hope it help

yes it can be done, just get the individual coordinates for each satellite that you are pointing to.I have to do that all the time when i can't get a signal from one of the satellites using the oval dish because trees are blocking it, so i mount each dish in different locations, but you still have to usesome kind of multiswitch to combine the signal though

Do I understand you Guys correctly that I can receive the other satellite simply by installing a second dish pointed at the satellite and combining their outputs with a 22kHz switch? I don't have to buy a new receiver? I currently have a Sony SAT-A2 receiver. Thanks for clarifying this for me.

NO, he is trying to get the hd signal, in order to do that you need a hd receiver with direct tv, as far a dish network they have special combiners that combine the signals for you.

Ed,
I was referring to standard broadcasts. Can I receive from the 119 satellite with a second dish and 22kHz switch and my old SAT-A2 receiver?
