Hey evrybody.. I've suggested a forum for whole house audio systems.. please back me up on this and send in a request. It would be of value to many many installers, as well as anybody trying to make an informed decision on what type of system to invest in. There are tons of systems from simple to complex, and they are esentially spread out remote controls anyhow so come on! What do you think? Lets get the ball rolling.. It would also be a great place to discuss it related components such as in-wall speakers, outdoor speakers, amps, IR systems, room to room video. etc etc... come on.. can't you see the value? As a guy with a little ole' custom install comany in Chicago, I think it would be great, but I also think it would have broad appeal.

I did my own whole house audio install last year and I think there would certainly be some value in this type of forum, but I'm not sure if there would be enough interest to sustain a forumm long term. I know it would be interesting to exchange ideas about running wires, etc.
