I need to change the remote code for a scientific atlanta hd box. It uses the same remote (provided by Bright House) as the other cable box I have (a Pace box). I need these boxes to operate with only their respective remotes. I have a SpeakerCraft IR setup in a remote electronics cabinet with both boxes, going to two different rooms, changing channels at the same time. I need the boxes "segregated"...

Thanks

The IR codes of S.A .boxes are fixed. Unfortunately we can not pick a remote fequency, like an RF remote for a SAT box. Your best option is to "route" the IR signal to the correct box, ( and cover the IR recivers on each box to prevent spashback). I would recoment a two-zone IR distrobution block for the application, but there are a couple of other less direct methods.
