MediaONE is in the process of pulling NexTV (digital cable) through Jacksonville FL and I've had a few pulled into my house. The problem I'm running into is I haven't seen any CCFs for this box, nor does Pronto seem to be able to learn from it. Oddly, Tivo is also unable to control it, and Tivo techs have been scratching their collective foreheads about that one for 3 weeks now.

In any event, does someone have this box - have you been about to get Pronto to operate it? If so, would you forward the CCF? Alternatively, if you have this box and have been unable to find a solution, would you let me know so I can stop banging my head? =)

Thanks! Please respond via email.

Nope, it's a Philips unit.

A very new model as near as I can figure. DCX6171/17A, although I'm not positive the /17A is part of the serial #.

Model # that is, not serial number.

Philips often ends model number with a slash... and if it's a Philips it'd be using RC5 codes. Which shouldn't be hard to learn, unless they're using a toggle bit.
