Hello,
As my cable company keeps squeezing more moola out of me, and my girlfriend wants channels only available through DirectTV (on a seperate satellite), I am seriously eyeing a conversion for Cable.
I have two main viewing rooms, with a possible third. Right now they are all wired with standard cable.
I recently purchased an AudioTron, and love it so much that I am considering a pair of SonicBlues for the system, connected via Ethernet.
So, here's my needs. A main living room system, with a future ReplayTV, a Master Bedroom System with ReplayTV and a possible second Bedroom (possibly an XBox viewer in the future :) ) The living room has a large screen TV, but no HDTV at present.
Any suggestions on DirectTV receivers and cabling needs? Or does this setup even make sense?
I'm really surprised no one makes a mini-catv system where small remotes select feeds for ~4 signals down normal cable (or maybe they do, and I have never seen them!)
