Can anyone confirm that there's a universal remote that will operate my DishNetwork receiver ("FG,MODEL 7120 W/OUTDOOR UNIT DUAL") as well as my Sony A/V receiver and TV? I tried the most expensive Sony universal remote last year, but returned it after several frustrating attempts to get it to perform even simple tasks, like changing satellite channels.
Now that I've discovered this Website, I'm ready to try again - if the receiver can be controlled.

i had one of those sony's. Its a piece of junk. Buy the philips pronto

Try www.hifi-remote.com . They have a way to program the Radio Shack 15-1994 and similar remotes using an inexpensive computer interface. There are codes for your Dishplayer. -Robert
