Please help me figure this out. I used to have a DSS system connected to my home theater. I also had cable as that is the only way I could get my networks. I had to get rid of the DSS because my number of TVS in the house was getting to high. I now have only cable. Do you all think that the quality of DSS analog audio is that much greater than that of cable audio. I know you can't here my cable audio and that they all differ but is analog .....just analog?

Think, I've been under the impression that DSS is completely digital, both audio and video, like a DVD is. Analog is analog, which can vary widely, but digital is usually an either-or format. Signal is good or non-existant. If you're asking about the use of analog connections between the tuner and amp/receiver, then I would say that DSS might have an edge, but not by much.
