Hello,

I have an early 1990's Mitsubishi Split A/C unit that the remote is no longer available from the manufacturer. The unit still cools fine but you must have the remote to adjust temperature, fan speed etc. Mitsubishi says there isn't a universal remote that will work with the unit.

I can't believe I have to buy a complete A/C system because of an inoperative remote.

Any help would be much appreciated.

When the A/C unit model changed, did they change remote codes? You may not get an exact look-a-like but if it works who cares?

Found this site. May be worth contacting and see if a later model remote will control your unit.
