Let me start by saying I am not sure if I am in the right forum. My problem is that I have a Cablevision Scientific Atlanta 8300 hd (with dvr) cable box. The remote will not pair with my TV. Which is a westinghouse VR- 3225. I have tried the auto code finder and a few codes from the cable box manual. None of them work. If there is no solution to my problem can some one recommend a universal remote that will run my dvr and tv thanks Dan

The LG TV codes should give you at least partial control. If you have a UEI Sceptre remote, try 00178.
