Hi,
New to this forum, I've managed to setup the remote for our Toshiba TV and Sagem DVR OK however although all of the functions seem to work there is one glaring one missing..... RECORD select !!!

we can browse the TV listings etc but cannot find a button/combo that sets the DVR to record what we want.... we can do it through the schedule on the DVR but that isn't the answer....

Am I missing something here ?

Regards

Derek

Perhaps I'm missing something, but the Essence 2 seems not to have transport keys (which means no record button)...

Whereas the Essence 3 and 4 do...

You can use the "Key Magic" feature of your remote to manually program an unused button to send the Record function. You would enter a 5 digit EFC, using the procedure shown on page 3 of the Extra Features manual, available at www.oneforall.com. If you don't have any unused buttons, it is also possible to assign it to two keystroke combination.

You can get the necessary EFC from Customer Service at OneForAll, or if you post the setup code that you are using, we may be able to tell you the EFC.
