Did a very stupid thing--I was bored and decided to play around with the settings on my DVD recorder--somehow changed the code for the remote now it wont work.The manual says press set up and change code but the remote wont work to allow me to do that.Anytime I press a button on the remote it shows on the DVD that remote code is 3---should be1 but I cant change it.I have read the manual and tried hitting combinations of buttons,holding buttons down,turning on ,off and pressing anything that I can.Nothing works.HELP HELP HELP.Thanks in advance.

Your dvdr is already changed, accept it as staying set to code 3. Now use the instructions in the manual to switch the remote to code 3 as well.

Have looked through manual cannot find how to do what you say.Ps--Thanks EDMUND for replying and you seem to know something about my problem.Any more advice is much appreciated..

yep--Found the right page and worked out how to do it--Your post was pure genius Edmund.Spent 2hours trying to fix it..Wish I found this site earlier..Thanks mate...CYA
