I pressed and held the volume-down button on my Philips universal remote to reduce the volume quickly, but the TV screen went black and a "Lock" message appeared on the screen. Anybody have a clue about what's up? How do I undo what I just did. Watching the "Lock" bar on TV all night is such a drag..... Thanx

The unlock codes for some TVs are listed here, but I don't see Insignia unfortunately...

I have a phillips universal remote and a hisense lcd tv that I am also locked out of and cant figure out how to become unlocked. My nephew decided to push bottons to impress his cousin is how i think it happened. hisense shows how to unlock it if you had the original remote. If i did i wouldn't be freaking.
