Okay, so I have a 14" Durabrand TV and an older Zenith 725B universal remote. After reading every damn page of the manual I couldn't find anything even related to the word Durabrand in the code listings. I tried the code search feature and eventually got basic TV functionality (volume, channel, power) with the code 520. But even with that I can't play videogames on it because I can't seem to get the TV input to go on. If anybody can give me any advice I would be truly grateful.

Durabrand is a trade name of Wal-Mart which, it would seem, just about every "affordable" manufacturerer (and his dog) appears to have made something for at some time - hence your not finding the name in the manual.

Try doing a search here. You may get lucky and find the code you want.
