I just recently bought a new Universal Remote controll yesterday from the Dollar Tree in Cottage Grove, Oregon, and I have to say that I am very impressed. This remote wasn't the easiest thing to programm, but after a while of playing with it, I got it to work with both my TV and VCR. The thing I really like about this thing is that I can controll both my TV and VCR without having to change functions. I just have it set for TV and I can power on my TV, and then VCR (with a seperate power button of coarse). It has a good range compared to what I'm used to.

I mainly got it to replace the remote that I had lost for my SHARP TV. It's a small tv, but fairly good. The factory remote for it didn't have a very good range either. I still can't get it to work with my stereo, a SANYO. The code wasn't in the instructions. Anyone else got one of these?
