Just purchased a philips SBC RU 760 (7060) this is my 3rd different remote in 2 months and I still can't get it to work how I want. (I've had 2 kameleons and ditched them so any help would be great)

My problem is I can't program the volume punch thru commands, the manual states

Select the mode. eg VCR
Press 1 and 6 it lights twice
press 993
select the amp
press 1

and the volume for the vcr should then be set to control the amp. It just will not work for me no matter what.

To add to that the manual actually states that by factory the volume is set to be controlled by amp in vcr,dvd,amp and cd mode but its not vcr and dvd mode control the tv volume.

Anyone have this remote or know where I'm going wrong, ive tried contacting philips but no joy...I can't be the only one out there with this problem as the manual is wrong!

nevermind found it but for future reference if anyone else wants help with this as the manual is very wrong its
