I have an RCA FPR722TR stereo monitor tv circa 1987, working great, want to keep it going, but no original remote control. Will the RCA RCU800 universal remote allow me to access the menu + the input functions of this tv? Thanks.

I much doubt it, I would get remote like a one-for-all model, like urc-6820, 8820, 10820. If the commands aren't mapped via preset codes, you probably ad them via advanced codes. 5 digit code for individual functions.
