I don't think the remote has one. I have the 30ES and cannot find a code to operate all the functions (mainly lacks the surround functions). I am in the process of returning my 8080 to the manufacturer for reprogramming.

turns out i read through the thread below regarding these remotes and found some help. there are instructions there for stepping through the "magic" codes for a particular setup code. i used all the sony setup codes and stepped through each. by doing this i was able to find all the codes necessary to create a single "tuner" setup that would operate all the functions i need. it wouldn't allow me to do the basic setup such a speaker size and location but you should only have to do that the first time you set the receiver up and whenever you move it.

Hi,

Does anybody hear several new remote control from OneForAll? One of them is Home Producer 8 learner (URC-8900). I saw this on one of their remote control packing (backside for ad purpose,I guess) in Wal-mart.

Thanks

I think that would be a URC8090. Should be able to pick one up at Circuit Silly.

No, it printed URC-9800 called Home producer 8 learner, not just home producer 8.

Here is the message I received from OneforAll.

Hello,

The URC9800 will be available in September/October at Tweeter, Best Buy
and Circuit City. The Mosaic will not be available until mid-next year.

Let me know if you have any other questions,

Thanks,

The Mosaic is at http://www.universalelectronicsus.com/, but it's only a computer-generated mockup photo. Looks promising. They don't seem to have anything on the new 9800; I'll try contacting them on Monday.

check out urc-6800 (one for six) at wal-mart. This baby has learning function, micros, etc. each button can be reassigned by learning ir. However, memory is limited, you can only save total 28 new buttons. But what you can buy with < $20 bucks?
