I have scoured this very nice website for DVD Player codes for my RCA System Link 4 remote. I can't even find a manual that has DVD codes listed.

Time spent on Google has prooved equally fruitless.

Under the battery cover, there is a model number, and then a number beneath it:

RCSAT3-B
2 1 0 3

The four digits under the model number are spaced out just like that. Does anyone know where I can find the DVD player codes? Specifically, I am looking for Sony DVD player codes.

Hmm. I pressed CodeSearch and held it until the light stayed on, and then pressed DVD once. As soon as I hit the "1", the light flashed very quickly and then went out.

I also tried the method of pressing the DVD button and holding it, entering the code, and releasing the DVD button. However, the DVD light does not stay lit when I hold it: it blinks once, and goes out.

I know the remote isn't faulty, because I have used it for years. I just recently got a new DVD player and would like to use this remote with it.

try this:

1. press and hold the Codesearch key until the light remains lit, and release

2. press and release DVD-AUX

3. press VCR key

4. enter code 1-6-6

YES! That works. If anyone else is reading this, this technique also allows the remote to work on my PS2. Horray!

i can't find the codes for a rca tv and ge vcr
