I was told by a h/k rep. that the TC1000 is no longer availible from h/k and is now discontinued.
Has anyone heard why.....? is there going to be a new and improved TC-2000???

I've heard this before, but H/K keeps advertising. One could say it was discontinued a long time ago, since no updates have come out in ages. I've heard nothing concrete about a new model.

Well, Microsoft no longer wants to support the TC1000 with their software and that is the reason TC1000 is been discondtinued. To bad :(

H/K could make a good marketing move by opening hardware interface and invite everyone to create open source software for the remote. I believe that they could increase sale dramatically in this case.

I spoke with H/K recently about the issue, their answer was lack of sales. With H/K discontinuing the product, Microsoft stopped producing updates to the software.
