Hi All,

Any new information on when the software will be updated? I find the current version to be rather clunky (and slightly buggy).

Thanks for any info

Dan

Sorry to say it, but all I've heard is "this year". :-(

Dan, Are you refering to the software that came with the remote or the new software that Madrigal posted but then took away (for the IRIQ owners)?

I'm referring to a software upgrade... specifically for the Take Control. I'm not certain what Madrigal was doing! :-)

I have a TC1000. I'm interested in anything that will fix bugs and improve functionality. I assume that any such updates would have to be loaded from a PC.

Dan & Daniel,
Yes, the software upgrade is run from a PC (at least there was no MAC software to click on that I noticed). Madrigal posted a new version about a month ago for their IRIQ. Then, they immediately withdrew the link. Someone else on this site was able to find out from Madrigal that they still needed to do some more testing, and then they'll put the even newer code up when it's good.
It was one .EXE file that you ran and about 20 minutes later, the iriq was updated with all your settings intact.
Unfortunately, the upgrade specifically states that Madrigal's software will only work on the IRIQ, and that HK owners need to goto HK.

Looks like the new software is officially available for IRIQ:

Hopefully Harman/Kardon is not far behind.

Wow, looks like they've made quite a few worthwile changes. Can't wait to test it on my Take Control (Microsoft said they were sending me the software, but never ended up doing so).

Dan,

Sounds great - but does it work on the TC1000?

Tech Support at HK told me to expect the new software on their web site in the next week or so!

Have been checking everyday and so far it is not posted as of 7/24.
