hey i was just wondering if you have the codes to remote
CLO34 which is in that pic? I need the philips dvd player
4 digit code

Huston, we have a problem . . .

If by 'pic' you're referring to the image link by sweetgirl, this, I believe, is the link to the store page.

Note the owners manual link. I've checked it out and found it to be a PM335, though alas it doesn't include codes. Here, however, things get a little confusing.

PM usually stands for Philips Magnavox, for which there are a number of manuals listed in the RC files section - the PM335 being one of them. If you download this file, however, you'll find that the remote it describes looks entirely different and the supplied codes are 3 rather than 4 digit.

If you believe the former PM335 is the correct one (this one is a 4 digit device), I suggest you download this manual and carry out a code search. Alternatively, if the above doesn't work, check out the battery compartment of your remote, there may be a code within that will help with a further search for the correct manual.

Update:

To confuse the issue further, the codes for CLO34 can be found here, listed under Philips rather than Philips/Magnavox. And to quote from the sheet . . .

Refer to the setup procedure below and look up the 3 digit code for your brand of TV, VCR, etc., from the list below.

They're actually 4 digit.

I currently have Philips Universal Remote PM435S. Recently, I accidentally moved the picture in a Picture (PIP) from the lower right corner to the upper right corner, and can't seem to figure out how to move the PIP again, and would like some help on how to do so.

Obviously, having already done it, there must be a way, but there's no mention of the required key steps in the 435 manual, and I wouldn't really expect there to be. You'll need to refer to to the TV (remote) manual and try to work out the steps from there.

It would appear that Quadrasurf remotes are supplied with TV sets, meaning the functionality may alter between models. In other words the model number of you TV would be beneficial.

The make and model number of your DVD player would also help.

That particular remote was supplied with the DSX5500 and 5540 directv receivers. Here is a link to the user manual. It includes a number of codes; those for Magnavox being 0081, 0057 and 0206.

Hope this helps.

I am going to email BOTH of you on this reply... This is an original copy of a Philips Remote Control Manual... I have found that the instructions work for the majority of the Philips Brand remotes.
