I have a URC-6131 remote and it has been working fine thanks to this forum for helping me with the advanced codes. I used the advanced code 218 that is the advance code to have a 30 sec skip on the tivo but not the button jumps right to the end of the recorded program. The button kinda looks like this -| but has a arrow instead of a horizontial line. I tried to reprogam it with 218 again but it wont work it always skips to the end now. WHat happened? How do i fix it??

Advanced code 218 is EFC for the ADVANCE key on your tivo remote, if it jumps to the end then key is fine, what isn't is your lost 30 second skip. Which when you program it has NO effect on the remote itself, it changes how the tivo itself reacts to the Advance key. You can loss the 30-skip if your tivo reboots. So while watching a recorded program enter SELECT-PLAY-SELECT-3-0-SELECT again. I don't know the 30-skip by heart because I have never used it myself, i perfer FFing. :-)
