Just bought an open box for RD-SX32 DVD/HDD Recorder from BestBuy, with no remote. Wanted to order one from BB parts, but they're back-ordered. And since BB is no longer carrying the item, I can't get my hands on a remote to "teach" a universal with.
Anyone know of a universal remote that will operate this recorder with a code (since I have no way of getting a remote to begin with)? I can't even get in to do Set-Up.
Thanks!

The One-for-All code for the Toshiba RD-SX32 is DVD 1988.
However, it may not be pre-programmed in any of their remotes. Your best bet is to purchase one of the "upgradable" One-for-All models and have that code downloaded into it by their customer service. You should also request the extended function ("EFC") listing to go with that code -- since you don't have the original, you will need to be able replicate every function of the OEM remote, even those that are not normally programmed into the universal remote.
