Hey guys, I just bought the RCA rcu1010 and got everything hooked up, except for some reason I can't get my audio system hooked up. It is a sony STR-DE697 - It doesn't have tape or Cd, but when I try the tuner and amp, neither of them seem to work.
The remote has an area for Audio 1/tape, audio 2/Tuner, Audio 3/Amp, Audio 4/Cd. I just want my surround sound to work. What would I put it under? I have tried many of them, but none of them seem to work.

Thanks for any help.

You probably need to change the command mode on the receiver and remote.

Click here to learn how to change your Sony receiver (and its remote) to AV1 (or AV2) Command Mode
