I used to be able to make this work with any tv, cable box, VCR but its been a long time and I lost my fgavorite one not better but more comfortable it can be programed without knowing the code of the TV I just remember hitting setup then tv (or whatever) and something else? then clicking the on/off button until it goes off the you hit enter and it works until you get new batteries!
