I need your help now people, my TV from 1986 is an" Blaupunkt Alabama 766 5510" and the remote just stopped working....I bought one of this Universal ones [Link: netonnet.se] but it did not worked (it worked for my dvd and my vcr but not for my old TV).


which remote can be used for this tv? dont want to buy another one by chance......

First, are you sure that it is the remote and not the TV's IR receiver that stopped working on your Blaupunkt? If not, perhaps first take your old remote in to the local electronics shop, maybe they can test to see if it is still sending IR or not.

Then if your old remote is truly the problem, I know that the One-for-All setup code for the old Alabama MP45 766 5510 is TV 0200. It is in some, but not all, of the current One-for-All universal models. So before you buy, check the support pages at their Web site www.oneforall.com to be sure the model you are interested in has that code. Alternatively, you can get one of their upgradeable models and download the code via the Web or through the phone.

If TV/0200 is indeed the right setup code, it's only present in a very select few remotes (see list below)
