I am tired of fumbling with multiple remotes and started looking for a universal today. I did not realize there would be so many choice. My system consists of:
Hitachi 50" HD TV - 50V500
Yamaha Reciever - 5750
JVC combo DVD/VCR -HR-XVC27U
Comcast HD cable box with the two tuner DVR -Motorola 6412
I want to make sure that the DVR function on the cable box remote can easily be programmed into the universal remote.
I have read a number of the reviews but can not find a site that offers a good recommendation based on the best overall value.
I am leaning towards the MX-700??????? Any comments or other suggestions?

I have two MX-700's they each replaced a collection of 7 remotes. It is a great remote. If the MX-700 can't handle it then probalby nothing can.
