I recently purchased this universal remote hoping to eliminate the use of many controllers; however, when I used the codes for my devices they would not respond. That is, the code signalled it is the correct one for a device, but the device would still not respond. Can anyone help me with my problem. The two devices I am currently struggling to program are my JVC VCR (model HR-A56U) and a Memorex 20" MTS Stereo CCD tv (sorry, I don't know hte model number). Although, the Memorex remote is apparentally one of Orion for some reason O_o?

If the JVC vcr isn't responding to code 0067, then you must have the VCR set to the remote B-code. OFA remotes use to have a code the matched B-code in JVC, it was VCR0008, but its no longer in the remotes. So check the vcr manual on how to switch from B to A-code.

I could have sworn I used that code before though. Oh well, what matters is it works now. I also believed that when one code blinks twice, it is the only working one. Edit: Just found the code (0463)

*is very happy* Thanks for the help.
