Hi.
I just got a remote for my xbox. This also works as a Universal remote for tv's an stuff, so it has a Powerbutton on it. My main problem is that the powerbutton in "xbox mode" dont send any signal, and the "xbox mode" is preprogrammed, so i cant change it. Does anybody here know how to modify remotes to program it? I just want to assign a signal to the powerbutton that the xbox can listen to.

Hope someone can help me.

The xbox has a mechanical power button, meaning it isn't remote controllable.

I know, but its possible to make an reciever that can power on/off the xbox via the remote (like this: http://xirremote.tripod.com/ ), but that is with button combinations, i want the power button on my remote to control it, and was hoping anybody here would know anything about modding remotes.
