Appologies first as I have looked but cant find the answer.

Amongst the theatretouch files I have found a listing for my audioaccess px-6, I have downloaded the files and there we have it!

What i would like to is simply put the file on a remote that just operates the px-6, Is there a way of doing this myself using an off the shelf universal (which are not expensive!) or is there a uk company who will sell a made up remote?

Any help appreciated

CML2EFC will give you codes that you can use with some UEI remote controls. Search for a link to the JP1 Yahoo group (in these forums, they've been mentioned a ton of times).

That's the cheapest solution but requires the above conversion work.

You can buy an RTI TheaterTouch T1 or T2 remote and use the CML directly. That's not cheap, but you get a very nice remote.

You can also do the EFC conversion and then use John Fine's Makehex to generate Pronto hex codes. Those can be put into a Philips Pronto.

Pronto hex codes can also be pasted into the edit software for URC's Home Theater Master remotes (some of them directly, like the 700 or 800/850 and I believe the 500 requires additional conversion and some hardware to program)

Lastly, you can also paste Pronto hex into the online configuration site of a Harmony remote.

BUT... There might already exist native Pronto and/or Harmony and/or URC suport for that component, in which case you don't need the conversions.

Hope this helps.
