Hi everyone, I am new to universal remotes so bear with me here...
I just bought a Philips Pronto TSU3000 on eBay from America and I live in Sydney, Australia. I haven't received it yet but I was just wondering (and getting worried) if there were regions on universal remotes. Will my Pronto work with all my stuff? Its all sony (stereo, projector, dvd) and a TEAC digital receiver.
so yeah could someone please let me know if it will be compatible in a different country to where it was intended for.

Are you thinking of region codes like the nasty things they put into DVD players? If so, have no fear, the MPAA hasn't started meddling with universal remotes yet, so you won't have any problems using a Pronto down under.
If you do have questions when you get started with the Pronto, don't post them here in the General forum, post them over in the Pronto forum, that's where all the Pronto users hang out.

you should not have a problem, the onlything to remmeber is that if you bought the charger you would need a new power adapter and if you decide to go RF you will need to get the RF base from the US
