Hi ppl, i've read through some of the reviews (not all yet, there're so many...) and i didn't come accross any remote that have the function that it's a universal remote which can also control your PC/Media Centre; that is, a programmable remote controller which could control your TV/HiFi/DVD/VCR set, and also could control your PC/Media Centre.

Do such device exist?

Yes, at least one exists... the Niveus PC Remote. However, as long as the PC remote is IR based you could learn it into another universal.

thanks for the confirmation. i was looking through out most of the reviews i could find to confirms on that, but none of the reviews stated that.

Or you can buy a simple IR receiver for your computer and use uICE or Girder to support pretty much any IR remote control you choose.
