I was reading the forums and reviews and looking for a universal remote to control a Motorola Cable Box, Panasonic Plasma and Onkyo AV receiver and DVD player.
Had narrowed my choices down to the URC-100 or 200 based on the reviews and forum comments. As I was shopping I stumbled upon the Samsung SAM200C remote and it seems to have the URC-200 functionality at the URC-100 price point, but...
I am able to find NOTHING on this remote. Does anyone know who makes this (if not Samsung) or anything about the unit, other than Best Buy's extensive (sic) information on this unit?

Any feed back would be appreciated

We are in the same boat. I think I will just have to buy one and see for myself. I canalways return it if it's not very user friendly.

Sorry to jump in...but I just stumbled on the Samsung remote at best buy and wanted to get more info..
Did anyone buy it? If so, how is it? I currently have the MX-500 and am running out of device space...Was looking to upgrade a Pronto Series remote...I know the Samsung remote is a far cry from the Prontos, but was just curious to find out some more information about it.

Thanks!

I purchased one, but it is going back. I am guessing this is their first remote, the box didn't even say what size batteries it used (AAA). Also, it does not do any macros that I could find and no X10. It seems like it would be easy to use, maybe I will stick some batteries in it and try it before I take it back.

I could have missed it but I looked through the manual twice and didn't see it. I have a samsung DLP and thought that it my work with my TV better. It looks like Samsung bought a company called Axession

The other thing that seemed odd about it is no support numbers or email listed in the manual.
