I have a simple direct tv D10 single tuner unit with remote. I want to be able to use the remote in my bathroom (next to my bedroom with reciever) where i will have a monitor. Any idea of an inexpensive solution either rf remote or other extender solution? I thought an rf remote would be the simplest, cheapest, and fewest plugins. I just want to be able to change channels and select the menu, etc. from the next room. thanks

You could get the one-for-all 9910, it's a RF universal remote. But it doesn't have the D10 code preset, you can have it loaded over the phone to the 9910. The code you should ask for is SAT1377.
