Ok i am not sure of the model # or where to find it but i no longer have the DVD player BUT i wanna use this remote for my kids TV since he lost his..... there are some #'s inside the battery compartment........ CRK76DC1 is that means anything at all..... thanks for any and all help in this matter as my son is driving me crazy without his TV remote.... help me not lose my sanity!

I found an instruction manual on the GE site, probably not as old as your DVD, but it said it would only control GE, Proscan and RCA TV's, and there were no codes given. Your remote probably has the same limitations, so a cheap OneForAll from Walmart might be your best bet.
