I have just switched from cable to dish. On my old cable remote, I have the cable box, tv and audio receiver setup on their universal remote. I had configured it so that all would turn on/off at the same time. I also had programmed the remote so that when I changed volume it would change that on the audio receiver and when I changed channels it would change that on the cable box without using any other buttons.

I now have Dish network with the 811 HD Box. I also have a Denon 1804, Mitsubishi WS-48313 and a Toshiba SD3950 (I think) DVD player. I want to have the same controls with the new dish receiver as I did with cable. I would like to have one remote to change channels on the dish and change volume on the Denon without having to hit any other buttons and have a power button that turns all on/off. DVD controls would be nice but are not necessary for me and as for TV controls, all I need is power.

I have started looking at the Harmony's and Sony's but would like to get some input from more experienced users. Basically this is all for the wife so I don’t have to give her instructions every time she wants to watch TV or have to listen to her yell at me because we have too many remotes.

Again, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
