I have a HTR-5740 Yahmaha Receiver and I would like a new remote to work with this. I'm interested in a remote w/ a LCD screen. Is there a remote that can replace my existing Yamaha receiver remote and still have all of the same functions?

Probably no remote will have all the functions of the original remote. There are just too many variations for different manufacturers and even different models for the same manufacturer. If you have the original remote you can learn what you need.

If you want a large touchscreen remote, the RM-AV2500/3000/3100 are good. I don't know enough about other brands to recommend any, but I'm sure there are other people who do and will be able to.
