Yes, but you will need a learning remote or one of the few universal remotes with a Bose code. The only one I found so far is the Radio Shack 15-6131, with Bose Code 1229. You can always try it and return it if it does not work.
If you want to teach more than the Bose power code to your universal remote, you will need a remote with sufficient learning capacity to learn all the commands you will want to use. Typically, OneForAll and Radio Shack remotes do not have the necessary capacities. The Sony RM-VL700/900/1000 and RM-AV2500/3000/3100 all have more than enough learning capacity.
To enable your Bose to receive infrared (IR) commands, read the following thread and adjust your Bose accordingly. Be sure and hold the learning remote opposite the receiver, not the Bose remote, as mentioned in the thread.
