Check out this keychain remote control that supposedly turns OFF any TV set (ignoring, of course, the finer points of toggle vs. discrete commands):

I think there is another model out there that also has volume and channel and on/off. I saw it in an article, and can't find it. Does anyone know this one? Very small, a competitor to this TVBGone, but more functional. Thanks

Great I got the better one.
This product is much more useful. Why turning a public tv off, if you can control it.
Last weekend I enjoyed my time in a local bar, where I had the full control over their tv.
Instead of watching boring sport I switched to a chick flick. Immediately I had some college girls around me who checked out the program on tv.
Guess what.

I believe this product is a little bit more useful then the tv-b-gone. Why turning the tv off if you can control it!> tv-b-off.com
Best experience, switched the channel in a sports bar to the animal channel.
