I have a Sony VPL-W400Q projector and an HTM MX-500 remote. The problem is that the "off" for the projector is just the "on" button held down for over 1 sec. So, when I learn the "off" button, I just get the ON again.
This is OK, except I am not able to program the OFF button to any macros, because of this. Just stringing together 3 or 4 ONs does not produce an OFF, because of the built-in delay between the codes.
Any ideas on how I could work the OFF into a macro?
