I have a URC-8080 and purchased an Advent 27" Flat Screen TV from Best Buy about a year ago. I have tried the code searching on my remote but have been unable to find a code that will turn the TV on or off. I have searched the One For All site with no luck.

They only recently added a Advent TV code to ofa remotes, code 0761. You could send your 8080 in for upgrade, or replace it, the PVR remote URC-6131 has the code installed.
